How to Add Old Notes with Original Dates?

How can I change the date of a note I insert? I'd like to input some old notes I’ve taken over the years and have them time-stamped with the original dates they were created. I don’t want the system to treat them as recently added notes I’d like to preserve the original timeline so I can accurately track progress.

I have the exact same problem with many markdown files of my diary which are old and are getting imported with the wrong date

Can you add notes from Evernote?

Thanks for your question! Could you let us know where you’re importing your notes from—Notion, Apple Notes, or markdown files?

If you’re importing from Notion, Me.bot can recognize the original creation dates using Notion’s metadata, so your notes should retain their original timestamps after import. However, markdown files aren’t supported for this feature yet, but we’re working on finding a solution.

Let us know your use case and we’ll do our best to help!
