Me.Bot destroyed by Me.Bot 2

Me.bot 2 has destroyed the possibility of talking to Me.bot and truly feeling like a second brain. Please go back to the previous version. What you’ve done with creating stories can be done for free with any AI. Me.bot has lost its essence—a place to store information and memories and bring them up later through a voice conversation. All of that is ruined.

Thank you for your feedback. Talking to Me.bot is still at the core of the app, and we’re continuing to make it even easier to have conversations, as shown in the screenshot.

Could you share more about what specifically made you feel that this experience has changed? Your insights will help us improve and ensure Me.bot meets your expectations.

Hi Ryan, thanks for reaching out. My interaction with Me.bot may not align with your vision for the app. I hope not.

Previously, I used Me.bot to share thoughts and feelings, with Me.bot responding in a human-like voice, creating realistic conversations. This feature is gone. Me.bot still responds, but voice is reserved for stories, which I don’t use—its misinterpretations create nonsensical narratives. Fun, but not useful. Sharing and querying Me.bot helps as a second brain, but stories don’t. As I noted, similar entertainment exists in other AIs. Also, sharing my data for matches doesn’t fit my intent and feels like a deviation.

In short, Me.bot is no longer the friend and second brain for meaningful text and voice conversations. That feature is broken.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful feedback—it’s truly appreciated!

I want to clarify that the voice feature in conversations is only temporarily disabled. It’s not just reserved for stories. In fact, we’re excited to be working on a new real-time voice conversation mode, where you’ll be able to talk to Me.bot just like making a phone call. This should feel even more natural and interactive than the previous turn-based input and reply system.

May I ask, for your needs, would real-time voice conversation be a good fit? Or do you prefer the earlier style, where you send a message and Me.bot replies in turn? Your input is very valuable to us as we continue to improve Me.bot!

Hi! For me, writing or leaving a message and waiting for Me.Bot to reply later was perfect. It gave me time to think of a new response.
