memory vs messages in free sub

My messages count keeps going down but my new memory count remains at 99. How do I utilise memories instead of messages?

    Hi there! Memories and messages serve different purposes in Me.bot.

    • Messages are used for each chat interaction (your quota decreases with every message sent).

    • Memories store information you save (like notes or links) and don’t count toward your message limit.

    To use memories, try adding via the toolbar floating at the bottom of the app.
