Rebuild my life

My name is Niña Grace Sarmiento and here’s my story: My professor dubbed me a "prostitute" in front of my classmates while I was a high school student, traumatizing me and causing me to stop studying. Many other things followed. We went home in the morning after spending the night drinking with pals. When I arrived home and started talking to my aunt, everything changed. She told me that my mom had been grieving all night over what had happened in my life, but it made me think and change. I took the decision to return to school, certainly in another city, and I did well academically. Now that I'm an undergraduate, I've gained new skills, regained my confidence, and am happy with the more mature version of myself.
