The audio requires smashing your thumb to the screen for longer than it should’ve taken the designer who did this to avoid releasing such a massive fail for UX. Apparently it’s not obvious (nor has it ever been tested) so I guess I’ll break it down: 1) my mom literally cannot use your app. She’s your audience too. Someone who can’t rule, AND WANTS TO TALK to these LLMs everyone has been raving about. But but unfortunately, the genius who decided to completely contradict the entire point of audio transcription placed a completely impossible restriction on anyone that actually needs it. Anyone with arthritis. Anyone with Parkinson’s. Anyone With any accessibility needs whatsoever 2) Lastly, I am perfectly abled, yet, if you learn about the human phalanges, the longer you apply for force using a fingertip heavier, the weight affinity becomes. Meaning every literal millisecond, it becomes more and more annoying and frustrating to use your app. This is not a good thing for your company, despite your feeble attempt to save money on data that’s gone AFK. Which is to be quite honest such an easy fix. I’m almost baffled that you haven’t simply added noise detection inferences. i’m quite annoyed that I feel this weird either greedy undertone leading to a near future upgrade to allow a single press feature. That is what I’m assuming. Or you simply don’t like to build things that don’t make you feel shitty using them. I have used this app a few times maybe and always go back to limitless because of this ridiculous limitation. No one wants to sit there and hold a button while they’re trying to also think about the thing they’re describing, while simultaneously feeling the pressure on their finger release and this weird company culture whispering to them in some whiny, screaming voice saying that’s the idea you gotta do XYNZ that we thought was super innovative at the time but never
