Youtu.be links can't be scraped
When copying a link from the YouTube mobile app, the domain is youtu.be instead of youtube.com. Unlike youtube.com links, youtu.be links can't be scraped by Me.bot, there's an error message. This works in similar apps, so this should be easy to fix. I do half of my link saving on the phone, and a lot of it is from YouTube, so it's important for me.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention!
Have you tried sharing the link directly to Me.bot instead of copying and pasting the youtu.be link? That should work as a better solution.
We appreciate your patience, and we'll make sure to fix the Youtu.be issue soon.

Hi Ryan, thank you for your reply. I’ve already tried that, and it doesn’t work. I’ve already created another feedback post about it: https://feedback.me.bot/p/sharing-with-mobile-app
After I tap on the More button from your first screenshot, I see a list of all apps that I can share with, I tap on Me.bot, it opens Me.bot, but then nothing happens: the link is not saved, and there’s no dialog about saving anything, I just see the home page of the app.
After clicking on the More button, I don’t see the same thing as on your right screenshot, here’s what I see:
I have a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra.
Fixing that would greatly help me, because I do consume a lot of YouTube content on the go. Thank you in advance, and congratulations on a great app.

Hi Bruno,
The issue with youtu.be links should be resolved now. Please check and let us know if it’s working as expected.
We’re also actively working on fixing the Android sharing feature to improve your experience. Appreciate your patience and feedback!

I tried again from both my Android and my desktop PC, and it still says that crawling is disabled when trying to save a youtu.be link.

Thank you for testing that out. We’re still working on improving the link preview for youtu.be links, and the “crawling disabled” message should be resolved with the upcoming Android update. In the meantime, you can still click “save” to get the correct summary and highlights for the YouTube video.
We appreciate your understanding and will keep you updated on the progress!

Thank you Ryan. The saving works, the summary is generated, but the metadata (thumbnail, title, description) is missing because the scraping failed. Looking forward to the update!

Hi Ryan, I tried it, and it works now, thank you. There is a warning message: “This website disabled scraping” which should be removed.
